It Figures

Where's the humor in hurt? Or the laughter in hate? What am I and what are you? Refusing to look beyond the dirt Piled high before our eyes By choices, deceit, lies.. You and I survived... But was it worth the fight? Life cares not for us Who dare to dream too much But sits and watches Our bubbles burst all over the place Like it were a game With childlike innocence Whatever it has left... It makes me think, "Hey! If I can do that to life, If I can knock Some sense, some reason, Some practicality Out of it, I can change the world."
