Renegades
By atia
We're all for sharp turns And tides that turn Along with tables, Aiming to be the leaves That never fall from trees Despite the changing seasons. We appreciate the struggle, Anticipate the vertical drop, Do all the right things For all the wrong reasons, Thinking maybe a heartache Is the key to soul searching And perhaps there's a bigger reward The bigger is the hurting. So we look into barren eyes For a little self assurance After all, what is life If not a test of endurance? Written January 20th, 2002 © on Jan 20 2002 10:34 AM PST 18 • 0 • 9
