A few more miles

By BadKharma

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

I see the world going by my window, I see it then it's gone by, anouther town in the distance, ten more minutes and then it's gone. A few more miles and I'll be home, the cars going down the road... Driving all day and night, just watching the world go by... A rest stop thats somewhere and nowhere, I stopped to take a walk and see, children playing and people waiting, I got in the car cause I had to leave. A few more miles and I'll be home, the cars going down the road... Driving all day and night, just watching the world go by... Flashing lights on the hiway, traffic backed up for miles, the only answer that I see, is a crumpled car and a mother crying. A few more miles and I'll be home, the cars going down the road... Driving all day and night, just watching the world go by...Anouther song written in College, with my best friend. Written February 21st, 2002 © on Feb 21 2002 10:55 AM PST   20 • 0 • 10
