Snake Goddess

By Barb Davidson

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

She lays sleeping deep inside, Her coils entwined Around my spine, My thoughts she hears, Until one day, She unwinds herself, It’s my time, she says, The love she brings, Is not known by all, The awareness she gives Is food for the soul, No questions can be asked, For no answers are known, Accept the feelings, For they are your own. The Goddess rises, She heals your heart, Your body and mind, Is where she starts, Don’t fear her, she loves you, No harm will she cause, The power she’ll show you, Is no ones but yours…….The background is the tattoo i designed for my back....
