The Newest Angel in Heaven                               The newest Angel in Heaven                               Salina is her name                               She touched your lives so briefly ,                               it'll never be the same                               God needed a Special Angel                               No one else could fill her shoes                               So he opened up the Heavens                               and called Salina's name                               You see , She was So Special                               that not just anyone else would do .                               I know it is hard for you                               loosing someone So Dear                               When you feel a need for Her                               look to the Heavens Up Above                               And Remember all the times you had with Her                               Your Sweet Little Love                               And She will Always Be Near                               Remember Her as you may                               because time will come for you                               to See Her again Another Day                               She has gone Up to Heaven                               Steve is by Her side ,                               holding Her hands and                               walking with Her ,                               In The Promised Land                               She will never have to know the pain                               that Fills this Whole Wide World                               Because Now She Walks with God ,                               as She is His Little Golden Girl .                               A Precious Angel - all the same                               and Salina is her name .                               Time alone will Heal Your Pain                               and when you see Her again in Heaven                               You will Understand how much                               God wanted to take Special Care of                               Your Precious Little One                               There is No Pain or Sorrow                               in The Promised Land                               And Your Special Little One                               will be there in wait                               For when Your time comes                               You Will See Her ,                               It's All in His Big Plan                               Only then will You see                               Her Smiling Eyes again                               No Pain or Suffering for Her to Endure                               Nothing like that in Heaven                               For This I am So Sure                               When it comes Your Time                               to Walk thru Those Pearly Gates                               On the other side You'll see                               Steve & Salina Hand in Hand                               because for You They had to wait .                               You see God needed Her so Badly                               So He called Her Up to Heaven                               She is His Precious Love ,                               This Precious Little Lady                               There is No Pain in Heaven ,                               Only Happiness and Joy                               Someone Up There to Care for Her                               and He is Steve , your Brother                               He needed Someone to Care for                               and with Him to wait ,                               Until Your time to Walk Up to                               Those Beautiful Pearly Gates                               The Newest Angel in Heaven                               Salina is Her name                               I Wish there were something I could do                               to Help to Ease Your Pain                               Since there's no way for me to do this ,                               This is what I Know                               She is in a Joyful Place                               with No Pain or Sorrow                               So She will be Waiting on You                               when Your time is here                               And again You will get to be                               With Your Precious Little Dear .                               There is Nothing I can do                               to Help to Heal Your Broken Heart ,                               Except to Remind You that                               of which She is a Part ..                               Lots of Love & Sympathy                               from Me to You .                               So when Your Sad & Lonely                               Remember , She's waiting on You ,                               Never to Feel any Pain                               Waiting on You in Heaven                               So You Can See Her Smile again ...                               by : Kay Modlin  06/28/2000                               Bare Foot Red Head Dedicated to the McCormick Family in the loss of their Beloved Salinathis is the first poem I'd written in a number of years ... all my poems come straight from my heart ...
