Storms of Passion
By bdgrey
Thunder erupts and fills the night sky. Gusts blow so violent and frighten young life. A war has begun, and no victor will there come, so they move on, so sure and resolute. Feeling true passion neither is mute. The rain pours incessantly, the soil now slides, Unsure with denial, their hearts their only guides. Fields now quiver with fear at the sight, fists now are clenched with frustration so tight. Can they not see, how things are meant to be? Birds sit quietly, soaked and in flocks, beneath canopies of malevolent trees. Anger still apparent and trivial as locks, but soon will subside with loss of such words. Clouds now opening, and rain now sweet mist, fear is now relief, for the danger has past. Our two young lovers have now become quiet, and hold each other loving and cherishing each breathe. Little they know of when will it end, but their hearts are connected to eternity's bed. Written October 7th, 2001 © on Oct 06 2001 04:51 PM PST 10 • 0 • 8
