At the end of the day
At the end of the day, everyday I sit in my room, alone And I take it all in, one at a time I see the picture of us on my shelf I see your faces, and we look so happy I see the roses from you I show them off with such pride I feel the necklace hanging from my neck, that says simply " I Love you" I wear it so close to my heart I see the blue box of notes, filled with so many words of life I read them and they take me back I can still smell you, I love that scent As if your right next to me I see the stuffed animals next to my bed They comfort me at night I take in the pictures, roses, necklace, letters, the smell, and amimals These are perks and signs of you all over It makes me remember, it makes me realize how much I miss it all I take it all in at the end of the day every day Written April 8th, 2002 © on Apr 08 2002 12:12 PM PST 18 • 0 • 8
