The Dragonfly's thought

By Beyond Zion

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

As the moon chases the sun over the sky, I wonder of the moments they keep secret. The thoughts. The tears. The screams of why. I wonder if they are lovers, forever searching for eachother. Chasing eachothers shadow, One warm with passion, The other cold with regret. And the stars, maybe they are the moons tears. A dragonfly passes me by, and I think: "What if?" What if I become like the moon? And the night becomes my tomb. A glitter paved rendeveau with regret, in this champagne dream. Written May 27th, 2002 © on May 27 2002 02:59 AM PST   18 • 0 • 10
