A Room Is Still
By birksy
A room is still, green lamp shines by itself in the corner, shadows stretch on the dusty floor, what a state to be in. Tick, tock, through the hours; no one left to find the scene, outside just as empty as within. Birds should sing in the morning, no sound now, though there's daylight, light shines on through the day, through the night. Written January 8th, 2002 © on Jan 08 2002 07:45 AM PST, Simon Birks 0 • 9
