A Space for the Weeds
By birksy
There’s a space to hide, at the end of the track, nettles on either side and in front, but enough space for one person to sit, pull the petals from a flower. And I cannot lie, it is I who frequents it, whenever the need falls upon me, I sit upon the nettles and the weeds, and look up to the birds flying high. When I go, I have asked for a piece of me to stay there, keeping watchful eyes on the weeds for I fear it might be, for a while, looked after, and that would never do.
