An Ornament
By birksy
So I find myself less of an ornament than before, but just as breakable, fragility’s not a quality that is lost with age. I find myself a broad shelf, best for the spread, for the wait I’ll endure, might as well be comfy for the ride. On my toe, a price tag dangles, though I dare not look, can’t stand the thought of it blank, like to think I have some chance of a buyer.
