Couldn't Save
By birksy
So he saved her life, and she thanked him, the lights are flashing one after another, he receives his medal, weighs heavy round his neck, he stands looking proud. Through his mind go the memories, that weigh heavy round his heart, all the screams of those he simply couldn't save. Written March 6th, 2002 © on Mar 05 2002 11:28 PM PST, Simon Birks 0 • 1
