Just Bones for a Body
By birksy
They’re just bones, nothing more nothing less, that once structured the flesh, organs, muscles of a body, let it walk, and sit, and breathe… Oh, the breath was so light, I remember it’s shallowness, Can remember the weak and the dying… But, now they’re just bones no rhyme, no feeling, for what I was, what I knew has become, at last, a part of you.
