Never Known From The Back
By birksy
Never known from the back, what’s the matter with her anyway? Come on, get out the way, I’m in a bloody hurry. Then a mirror, and I see her, hadn’t seen her in a while, looks the same, but her eyes are shut. Follow her through the roads watching her feet walk slowly, carefully, she still has her mystery, her dignity. Then, at the kerb, I ask her to walk with me, and she says yes, she takes my arm, I take her stick, I get the chance to her guide, again.
