Our Masks
By birksy
Our masks, they see us through, and days are no more than treading water. For those that can’t, they sink, call breathlessly for help, hope that some above look down, serve charity upon them, bringing them with care and training, back to the surface. Keeping eyes far down tests the soul, as much as keeping them there shows humility. We see nothing but a worthy cause. We see every one as a whole.
