Pittance
By birksy
They exchange a pittance, a strange existence denial of the obvious and they behave like children. Don’t throw them copper from a jar, it's torture to keep them together for a while more. They've no need to cash it in, no investment noted within these walls, just a range of stalls for white elephants. They exchange a pittance, and care even less.
