Splashing
By birksy
Splishity splosh! The rain on the rooftops, Never pauses for breath Oh, how I long to be out there with you, dancing and kicking up our heels Tasting the drops with our open mouths as we swing round, The laugh so fresh and loud in my ears. Keep me spinning! The pull ever outward, balanced by your firm grip How I’ve come to be used to it, and value each crease. Each fold reminds me of something about my life with you. If I kept all the moments I cherished, there’d be no more room on the earth for the rest, That’s how lucky I am to have you. Written May 21st, 1998 © on Aug 29 2001 07:44 AM PST, Simon Birks 0 • 8
