Stood under a street light, away from his house, he's walked her this far, his heart's in his mouth, he'll have to turn for home now, or they’ll start to worry, but he so wants to hold her hand. She smiles, scuffs the floor, her hearts pounding, too, she looks for his hand, but the shadows make it dark.
