Talking and Snoring
By birksy
What's this I can hear in the dark, Words trying to become sentences Under extreme pressure. And then I remember, That it's not me they're aimed at, But to your visionary subconscious, Playing theatre inside that beautiful head of yours. I dare not answer back, In fear of waking your slumber, Causing both the worlds to fall into confusion. Instead I just smile, And know its just another part of you I love, Another part which brings me pleasure At night. I'll keep your sleep talking till tomorrow, When you'll smile at me as I explain, Your weird and wonderful mutterings. Then you can complain about my snoring, Letting me know that you enjoy our time as well, Just talking and snoring, Together. This is just a personal poem that makes me smile. No more - no less.
