Walking Away!
By birksy
There, as if in a dream, she strides her long slim legs make her glide, with her hand she strokes the rail, and her lips, pursed, describe the fine detail of her thoughts. To me she is the height which I aim to reach, despite the man that walks just ahead, their distance and silence, says that they are together. But I, like she, will work behind his back, and know that for all the looks I lack will soon win her round to a time where she walks with me, and he will be all but forgotten.
