Where There Was One (Collaboration with Highland_Dreams)

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

I offer my palms, give me yours, too, we will hold on together, we'll say, me and you. .In the palm of your hands .Rests the fate of my heart .Treat it very tenderly .Lest it break apart See my blue eyes, they rest only on you, what is behind us, is soon out of view. .See my brown eyes, .the windows to my soul .Seek all that’s within .and make me feel whole. I hold my hand to your chin, bring your lips to mine, feel the strength of within, a warmth for our time. .Touch upon my mouth .With your soft lips .Savour my body .With your fingertips. When morning arrives, I shall stay here with you, never alone now, where there was one, now two. .When the morning sun rises .As I’m lying next to you .I’ll know just what happiness is .where there was one, now two.
