Will
By birksy
Keep me still, give me a will to stay where I am, though I feel I do not belong. Cradle my heart, wipe away tears as they fall from eyes wide with innocent fear. Love my soul, for it’s lost in twists of guilt, and fear, and help me learn to love back. Stroke my hand, and speak softly of lands and people who win and lose just like me. Show the way, so I might walk as you with pride, and catch me as I fall. All these things, I ask you to teach me, and I will do good by them and never fail.
