Neglected What happened to those words you used to say? those sweet nothing, whispered into a dying ear brung it back to life, so full so free? What happened to those gentle caresses, left on an arm, a knee, a shoulder gone cold and nowhere here away from this place full of disgrace dont look into my face now only pain, sweat and tears replace the face that knew no fears Ignored and now im sitting here, no calls, no emails no messages no nothing work engulfs the vast majority of a soul, which my love once occupied feelings died a set of footsteps left alone in the dirt walk alone a voice said light shown overhead a man who makes you cry is worth nothing in time Rejected nonetheless alone she remained her voice only heard in a whisper dying promises drift off into the night now a shaky hand, grasps for what isnt there a meaningless attempt to save what is slipping the silence unbroken no words here spoken Forlorn drift away to those emotions past loves lost willingly emotions flaring overreactions daring a lonely life, too scary forlorn and alone sitting by her phone a call too distant a wish made in an instant... only to have him here by her side, yet at home, he still resides...
