I Promised Myself
Please don't leave me alone, I'm tired of this solitude. I've been alone so long, I can't take it anymore. I can't write, I can't think, I can't love, I can't hate. All I can do is long for you, and scream at myself for crying. I promised myself I wouldn't cry today. That I wouldn't miss you again. I promised myself I would take it. That I would get used to being alone. But I can't live without you. I can't live without your smile. I can't live without your touch. I can't make it without you. I can't smile, I can't breathe, I can't sleep, I can't wake. All I can do is long for you, and scream at myself for crying. I promised myself I'd get used to this. That I would learn to stand your crying. I promised myself I wouldn't cry for you. That I wouldn't bleed when you cry. I promised myself that I'd let you go. That I would let you walk away from me. I should have learned by now that loving you is no better for you, than me. I promised myself everything that I didn't do and now it's gone.
