No Right To Cry
Crystal tears shatter as they roll off my face; Crimson blood seeps into the ground; My screams echo off the walls; Yet I have no reason to cry. I feel worthless and selfish, and although I am, I have no right to bleed. There are people bleeding already, I don't need to add to the blood. There are those who are dying, and I don't need to add to the count of the bodies found on the polluted and littered streets. What right have I to weep- to fall down on my knees and scream untill I can no longer make a sound. All those who die each day, can no longer get down on their knees to pray to the god that let them die. I have no right to still be living, for they are worth so much more than I. Take my life and give it to them, give them a chance to live again. Please, just kill me, and give them my smiles, give them my laughs, give them everything I have, just leave me with my tears.
