Only Time Can Tell

By brokenworthlessness

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

As the grains of sand in the hourglass trickle down and the second hand on the clock slowly flows from number to number around and around and around i think about you i think about what we used to be i think about what you ment and i regret how i hurt you i didn't mean to and only time can tell what it's done to you what it's done to me we don't even love eachother anymore and only time can tell what it's done to our lives but i know now that i hurt you almost as much as you hurt me and only time will tell what it's done to our lives to our hearts and only time will tell if our wounds will heal if  the rain will cease only time will tell Written December 11th, 2001 © on Dec 11 2001 12:01 PM PST   18 • 0 • 10
