River Of Blood
Your trembling hand reaches up out of this river of blood. Dripping with my tears, drenched in your own blood. Your wings caked in crimson, Your halo turned to rust, Your love turned to hunger, Your hope turned to dust. Silver wings unfold in your abyss, reaching toward the broken sky. You fly above the bloody river, and reach down your dripping hand. Your fingers wrap around my own. Screams fill your ears, and tears, your compassionate eyes. Looking down at our mangled souls, as we selfishly fall to the ground. You cry your selfless crystal tears. Your beautiful eyes clouded by our pain. Your gentle heart peirced by our worthless screams. Arms reach out, and pull you down. Your loving soul cries. My worthless tears renew once more, as your perfect heart dies.
