Diamond Heart

By Burnt at both ends

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

diamond heart -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- i find my mind all over the floor pieces lost and hopelessly scattered amidst the tangled ruins of defunct dreams from another life. A diamond heart emerges from the dust and ash A diamond sprout wakened and washed by shame tears that pour, as I clean. =8-] A diamond seed was there all along. Diamond love grows silently in the earth moistened by the grateful tears that never leave my eyes, In this heart thriving in this light, sparkling.
