Grandfathers Brook

By Burnt at both ends

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

I went to my Grandfathers Brook I brought my rod and my hook. I stepped on a frog And I tripped on a log The frog went SQUISH and I saw a fish But it's too late The fish had a date with a polywog! I crossed the lake and got bit by a snake So I told the old snake to go jump in a lake So he jumped in a lake and he got a heartache and all of a sudden he died.My first poem ever, I was in 4th grade. I remember having a hard time ending the story LOL. I think I "borrowed" the ending from somewhere!!! Written January 31st, 2002 © on Jan 31 2002 07:50 AM PST   10 • 0 • 14
