Echoes between words

By Burnt at both ends

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

Hey there sweetspot. I talk to you all the time seems almost silly to say goodbye and then right away start in on a poem to you. ~ Like a sexy '69' thing only with headsets, Your ear against my mouth. Licking love, I linger, you listen. ~ Oh god ... the listening to your lips wet with wit whispering 'us, baby..us'. ~ And mad me here, snaked tongue through candle flame flickering, tasting, yes, baby yes. ~ Touching it and teasing it. The flame combusting when we get close to burn with it. ~ The echoes between words, Ring loud, loud and long. Like we are in this big place somewhere deep. Wild mad callings happy lost in our Spelunking... ~ Stop here a minute listen. Let me catch my breath with you before we kiss again. =8-]Revised it quite a bit... let me know if you like it better. I think it is a better song now. =8-] Written March 13th, 2002 © on Mar 13 2002 07:05 AM PST   20 • 16
