So you'r leaving
By Cally
You say you'r leaving Though you've already left. I felt it in my soul, Deftly you crept away; You protest you have to go, I laugh: "You've been gone for years" My face forces smiles To delay the tears. And what's sad, I watched you go And I forgot to say Good bye or take care, Or to remind you That I'll always be there. You say you'r leaving Things to see and do, "Catching up and Little things." In you'r leaving I find relief; I grant my face the favour of tears.Re-working, oh the joy of it, I can never make up my mind if it helps or hurts, let me know :) Written January 27th, 2002 © on Mar 13 2002 06:00 AM PST 0 • 10
