Why Me?

I heard your voice and my knees started to shake. I was nervous. I filled my head with wonder as to why you would call me. As I talked more with you, it became easier to say what I wanted to. You made me laugh and filled my heart with joy. But then my hands started to shake. My palms became clammy and sweaty Chills went flowing down my spine. Questions exploded in my mind. Could I ever learn to trust or love again? Would he be able to understand, and help me through the hurt and pain, lingering from the past?
