another love poem 2

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

my love, I cannot take you where you don’t want to go and no matter how hard I try no matter how much I want I know you’re just not ready there’s something unsteady within your words believe me, I know I’ve sat for hours listening and maybe this thing this thing we share will still be there a week, a month, a year from now or maybe we’ll both change and move on to other things we have no way of predicting but for now, this very minute I will cherish that you’re in it and promise you I’ll always be your friend Written January 9th, 2002 © on Jan 09 2002 05:04 AM PST   0 • 10
