Hidden life.
The shadow hides the pain On the faces by the grave He will never laugh again Nor will he shout and rave. His hidden secret life His abuse of son and wife. Will never now be told, Not even when they’re old. To tell would bring them shame And renew shafts of pain. But through the deepest shadow Hope pierces like an arrow. That time will heal all ill Far better than any pill. Written November 18th, 2001 © on Nov 18 2001 05:23 AM PST 0 • 1
