Well I waited on the stairs, like you told me to. I waited for the knock, like you said you'd do. It's ever so hard being 4, waiting for my big bro to come to the door. I've been waiting for hours, Mom said go to bed. But it's my 4th birthday, I remember what you promised...remember what you said??? You said no matter what, even if mommy screams, you'd come see your little sis, you said we were a team!! Well the cake and the candles are gone now. Why do we do that stuff... I even looked down the streets for your headlights, mom said this would be tough. What does she mean Big brother?? Do you not like me anymore? Why aren't you coming back? I swear if you come now, I won't be angry anymore Well I'm tucked into bed now. Mommy made me do my prayers. One thing I dont understand though, Why this is so not fair. She said I can talk to you. But I don't relly get it. I thought prayers were for Jesus. does this have something to do with you getting "hit"? Mommy tried to explain to me, that speeding cars are bad. And one day you were "hit" by one, so I got real sad. She said she'd explain later, when I grew a little bigger. when I understood hate, and why men will always hate "nigger" So, I waited on the stairs, like you told me to. I waited for the knock, like you said you'd do. I've been waiting for hours, Mom said go to bed. But it's my 4th birthday, I remember what you promised...remember what you said???hey, I'm not actually done with this one, but it's developing...give me hints, words...anything you can..=) thanks Written April 6th, 2002 © on Apr 06 2002 03:30 AM PST 0 • 1
