Mine

By Cinderella

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

And I smile to myself, because I realize that it dosn't matter. I smile, because I know that for me, there is a "One." I grin, because I know that whoever and whatever I encounter now, is just making me want Him more. No, he's not here now, and No, he dosn't need to be. I still have years to mature, and years to know myself. But when I look into his eyes, I know this past will fade, and our new future, will come. So I smile, on all the love I share now, all the questions and plans, and I know that I do have that "someone" out there. And when he comes, I'll smile at the past I learned from and the maturity I gained. Written April 9th, 2002 © on Apr 09 2002 03:35 PM PST   0 • 12
