Doorway to Bliss

By Clouded Nights

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

The moon is a jewel, an ivory gift, to the stars in the sky, leaving memories to drift. My eyes explore, the beauty above. And in return, it covers me with love. Moonlight so bright, I can't help but stare, as it guides me along, into the wondrous lair. A lair I visit, when I just want to get away, a place only I can go, every night and day. no one to bother, to pester, or even to hear. Only you, your thoughts, and perhaps a tear. Whether it is a tear of love and loss, or a tear of sorrow and hate, the dreamer will never forget how he crossed with fate.
