A Time to Stay

By Convolution

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

A time to stay has come this year; This time, perhaps, we all must heed The call inside to muffle fear. This time, perhaps, we all shall breathe. A time of crystal grey indoors; This time, perhaps, we all shall help, To lift another from the floor. This time, perhaps, we’ll leave ourselves. A time to call on lessons gone; This time, perhaps, we all can learn. A burden, gladly, we take on. This time, perhaps, our cheeks shall turn. A time to think of loves we’ve lost; This time, perhaps, we’ll watch this play. A time to know the paths we’ve crossed. This time, perhaps, we’ll stay this way.
