Ketamine 10 - I Can't Find the Angels

There are choices we make which determine our future, but the change of perspective offered to me now was one in which I could make choices to determine the present. I chose to write with my world. I lifted myself from the ground with a power derived solely from the knowledge that I could. I shot back to the sea of jade which had engulfed me at first. There I soared over the waters until I rediscovered the island which had marked the beginning of the journey. There I alighted and awaited the arrival of the winged men. I waited and waited, but they did not come. I looked to the sun, but I saw nothing. There I sat on the desolate island, and there I wondered why there was no one else. I could not seem to grasp why they did not come. Written January 9th, 2002 © on Jan 08 2002 03:46 PM PST   0 • 10
