A cup half full of air, Fingers in your hair, These are just some things to get you there. A cloud across the skies, The other person’s eyes, The only thing the sun can do is rise. A single leaf in fall, To not need words at all, Your friends will wrap around you like a shawl. A happy little tear, The pictures from next year, Recline and watch the future growing near. Glances just for us, We’re making all the fuss, We won’t ever let the hinges rust. A ritual embrace, An overflow of grace, The good things let us keep our names in place.
