Behind Her Glasses
She hides behind her glasses, and every day she sees, those guys she wants to go out with, and those girls she's wished she could be. She hides behind her glasses, feeling stupid and so out of place, and wonders if there's anywhere she belongs, maybe somewhere out there in deep space. She hides behind her glasses, dreaming of the way it would be, if she had a little self confidence, then she would show them, they'd see. She hides behind her glasses, the sad part of the story is this, the person she hates in the mirror each day, is the person she'd most likely miss.I hope you like this..... I was depressed and venting it and discovered this poem somewhere in my mind waiting to be written and figured this was the best place....
