If I could lie next to you until my last teardrop fell, I would. If I could sit with you all night and day and make all your pain go away, I would. If I could talk with you and hold your hand all hours of the day, I would. If I could comb your hair and brush your teeth every night and morning, I would. If I could look into your eyes and smile when I saw my reflection, I would. If we could laugh about the silly things I do all night, I would sit next to you until the sun came up. But you could never see the last tear come out of my eye when I think about you. I can't sit with you all night and day and I can't laugh with you till the morning. That's because you have gone somewhere better. Somewhere, where not everyone is so cruel to the less fortunate. In heaven, all people all created equal.
