You Told Me

You told me today that you wanted to marry me. Even asked me around your friends. You hugged and kissed me a lot today. But you meant nothing I tried to pretend. It seems that the more I show I care. The more that you back off. And when I pretend that you mean nothing. Then between us there is suddenly something. Carlos asked today if we were a pair. I responded that we were just friends. Before that it seemed you did not care. We have had our many ends. I don't know what to say anymore. Seems like you don't mean what you say. You have completely become a bore. You want me to come over. Sorry not today. I love you and you told me that you did to. But why around everyone else am I just your homegirl. Do you know the things I want to do? I want to hug you and kiss you and show them I am your girl. You said it would hurt Derrick but he said it wont. Johnny he wants me to be happy. Thats the only thing. And well being with you would do that. Today you told me that you wanted to marry me. I was waiting for the "yeah right" but it never came and that gave me a fright.
