Tis Spring's Touch
By cylina
Tis Spring's Touch Fledging feathers adorn each word upon my arrow lifted high. Wind empowers the wings of birds to milk April dreams from mother sky. Dawning shadows alight the herds, my tested bow closes winter’s eye. Bye~bye wooly winter sky so shy Clutching time’s waist in spring’s embrace I free my newborn butterfly. The furious sun melts earth’s face, a virgin heat my heart can't deny. Flowing on love’s chantilly lace, wind wipes the tears I need to cry. Bye~bye wooly winter sky so shy I heard a song whispering wind like petals twirling in a sigh. The cold season left me chagrined, it hung me up to slowly dry. The spirit of spring has not sinned nor it’s wild beauty can we buy. Bye~bye wooly winter sky so shyMy ode to spring ~:) Written April 15th, 2002 © on Apr 15 2002 02:49 PM PST 18 • 0 • 10
