Winter
By dabs
Shards of ice and falling snow, I make your house cold, you know. The heating is up, you’re bundled tight, With thunder you’re awake at night. Winds blowing strong as I doze, Winds from the south that I froze, Each step I take cools the ground, Each step I take with a nasty, cold frown. On my bum – something that will make you belch, Mud and snow with disapproval it shall squelch, On my body, prickly ice hither and thither, Skeleton trees with leaves that wither. Wood for the fire? Oops! A splinter.. Hey mate, I’m winter. Written April 5th, 2002 © on Apr 04 2002 06:49 PM PST 20 • 0 • 14
