Enigma (Challenge Poem)
By danih
I taped back the picture I had begun to rend, and I put it back in place. I bent back the rod I had begun to bend, and I saw all of the challenges I had to face. I walked away and came back again to find to my dismay, the puzzle I had torn apart was still settled in its way. My life is an enigma, An unbearable, disgraceful mess. The picture I taped back was still torn, and the rod was still mishaped despite my attempts to correct it. The puzzle lies, still unworked, Few pieces in place. Perhaps, some pieces missing. Waiting, Longing to be worked. I can work them. I can fix them. I will... I will not... I will not procrastinate. With help all the pieces will fall into place.Hey this was just a challenge poem. I don't know what I really think of it. But you could tell me I assume. Written February 14th, 2002 © on Feb 16 2002 11:26 AM PST, Danielle Scarborough 10 • 0
