United States, Untied
By danih
Hope abolished, Fears met, Dreams demolished, A day we'll never forget. Families torn, Hearts broken, It's not the norm, The President has spoken. "Many lives were lost, I'm a loving man," he said. "For the lives we can't pay the cost, But we'll take a day to mourn and honor the dead." An act of terrorism, So cruel and inhumane, An absolute cataclysm, But who do we have to blame? The States are now tied together, For our security and people we will fight, Their memories will be in our hearts forever, The heart of America will reunite. © Danielle Written July 16th, 2001 © on Feb 14 2002 06:13 AM PST, Danielle Scarborough 0 • 9
