I hear the desperate cries of an Angel That tears at my heart and soul I close my eyes and picture his beauty Yearning to somehow span the distance And surround him with comfort Smooth his exquisite wings with a soft touch Brush the hair back from his brow Bestow his handsome face with faint kisses Engulf him with the utmost tenderness Whisper gentle words of serenity Allow him the release of his tears While I compassionately hold him close Freeing him to unburden his soul Let loose with all his sorrow and pain Permitting the peace and tranquility To once again become his I pray that this ethereal creature Hears this impassioned plea that I wish With all my heart and soul So close your eyes Angel And let my voice wash over you Bringing you the love that I feel inside And letting you know how much I careThis is for my Angel that has once helped me and now I wish to help him in any way possible.
