My Paradise
By DarkDruidess
A tropical wind blows ever so softly Stirring up the jasmine in the air The starlight speckles the sand Creating prisms of light That bounce back from your eyes The moon reflected in the waves Of the calm and tranquil ocean Bathing your body in an aura That warms my heart And touches my soul I am afraid to reach out and hold you In all your splendor and glory Scared of shattering the illusion That I have before me My fingers tremble as they caress Your exquisite and handsome face My breathing stops as you smile Making my heart beat faster Feeling your heat I shiver Drawn enigmatically closer to you I lay my head on your shoulder Reveling in the sensations induced By the proximity of your brilliance Knowing as I hold you On this serene beach I have found my paradise Written April 13th, 2002 © on Apr 13 2002 12:05 AM PST, Tami Ellis 0 • 8
