My Angel,
By dawnhall
If I were only three, where would I be? I'd be in your arms or on your knee. I'd give you sugar and hugs, I'd gather a whole bunch of bugs. I would be proud, I'd shout out loud: "Mommy, Daddy, I love you and you love me too." If I were three, I could be four, when Daddy came home I'd run to the door. I would jump in his arms with love, He'd hug me from above. Mommy would smile, she would hold my hand awhile. She would love me so and I'd never have to go. Yet, I am 5 months old and I did what I was told God sent for me and three I'll never be. God's little angel am I, please do not cry. I am no longer in pain, I do not feel the rain Mommy, Daddy, I am happy, I am with God you see. Watch me throw the stars for fun... I swing on the moon, in front of everyone. Look Mommy, I can walk. Look Daddy, I can talk... Please let me go, God needs me so I'll always be near, please, don't shed a tear. Copyright © February 2001 Dawn Anne Hall I want to dedicate this to my grandchild who passed away when he was 5 months old. As an Angel I feel he could speak, walk, think, and love. I believe he would want his mom and dad to come to completion knowing God is taking care of him. © on Dec 13 2001 08:07 PM PST, Dawn Anne Hall 0 • 18 • 8
